The Ozark Natural Science Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit field science, environmental education and conference facility located in the Ozarks of northwest Arkansas. Our mission is to enhance the understanding, appreciation, and stewardship of the Ozark natural environment.

Our campus is in the Bear Hollow Natural Area, located on 500 acres of Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission land in rural Madison county between Huntsville and Eureka Springs (approximately 35 miles from downtown Rogers).

What’s new at ONSC?

Join us for our signature annual fundraiser: Call of the Wild will be on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers.  Around 400 attendees typically join us for this fun-filled night featuring dinner, live entertainment by 3 Penny Acre, keynote speaker Michelle Harvey from the Environmental Defense Fund and live and silent auctions – all to support the work of the Ozark Natural Science CenterLEARN MORE ABOUT TICKETS and SPONSORSHIPS!

We’re also finalizing details for our 2012 summer camps, including lots of new offerings and upgrades to our popular, long-standing camps.  Underwriters are needed to get the cost down per camp so that more children have the opportunity to experience summer in the Ozarks, and registration will open after the first of the year.

ONSC also offers adult and family programs as well as corporate facility rentals, but we are best known as the site of life-altering overnight school excursions for more than 4,000 public and private school students from Arkansas and beyond each year.
