In addition to membership, there are a number of ways to support the Ozark Natural Science Center’s mission to enhance the understanding, appreciation and stewardship of the Ozark natural environment through financial and in-kind donations. Thank you for your interest!

Corporate Partnerships

Our Corporate Partners are companies that care about sustainability, environmental education, outdoor experiences for kids and the life-altering impact of ONSC’s outstanding field science experience allow us to continue to focus on delivering a high-quality program. Currently, we lose approximately $30 – $40 per child (times 4,000 kids/year) delivering our program on top of significant needs to improve staff compensation, address deferred maintenance and upgrade/repair our facilities.

A number of companies throughout northwest Arkansas and beyond believe strongly in the Ozark Natural Science Center and support us as corporate partners.  Such support is typically at the following levels:

Event Sponsorships

Call of the Wild is ONSC’s signature annual event, typically held in mid to late April at the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers. Attendees represent nearly 450 of the region’s community and business leaders as well as educators, school administrators and individuals who care deeply about conservation, sustainability, field science and outdoor experiences for kids. In addition to Call of the Wild, ONSC offers a number of smaller, targeted-audience fundraising events and programs throughout the year, such as Percolating for ONSC, a coffee and chocolate tasting held in Bentonville, and our annual Women’s Yoga Retreat the weekend following Mother’s Day. In 2011, a new array of events will include programs such as the first Arkansas Women Bloggers Unplugged conference and a getaway for moms called Momcation. Sponsorships for these programs range from $100 to $2,500.

 

Program Sponsorships

Help the Ozark Natural Science Center offset the program, staffing and material costs of our absolutely top-notch summer camps and other programs. Supporters can underwrite the full cost of such camps and programs, or we can work creatively with donors to provide scholarships. We typically offer 8 – 10 regular summer camps in addition to Shiner Camps (fully- scholarship paid summer camps for outstanding field science students) and our new Girls Pursuing Science (GPS) program, designed to inspire girls to pursue science-based careers.

Full Summer Camp Sponsors (20 attendees): $3,500

Camp or Program Sponsor: $1,000

Sponsorship for one child’s summer camp experience: $500

Sponsorship for one child’s school program experience: $150*

(*all children in a participating school attend, but sponsorship makes up the cost to ONSC)
