Walmart & Sam’s Club
The Ozark Natural Science Center has been fortunate to have the support of numerous Walmart and Sam’s Club associates through the years, from our Board of Directors to the ONSC Corps to parent chaperones for our school programs.
There are four additional, easy things that Walmart and Sam’s Club associates can do for ONSC – will you help?
- Local Choice Grants: Departments nominate nonprofits to receive $10,000 to $100,000.
- Community Grants: Departments nominate nonprofits to receive a $1,000 community grant.
- Volunteerism Always Pays: Every 28 hours of associate volunteer time = $250 for a nonprofit.
- Paid Day to Volunteer: Associates receive one paid day a year to volunteer with a local nonprofit.

If you’d like more information about ONSC, why fundraising assistance like this is needed and how we align with Walmart’s areas of focus (education, job skills training, health and environmental sustainability), please read the “Walmart Associates & ONSC” document and additional information below!
And of course, we’d love to just have you be involved by reading our e-news, exploring our most pressing needs through our support section, attending events or simply sharing this information with another associate who cares about sustainability, the environment, outdoor recreation, science and great kids’ programs.
