About the Event

World Migratory Bird Day: Guided Birding Hike

🌿🐦 Celebrate the Wonders of Spring Migration!

Join Ozark Natural Science Center staff and guest birders Kenny Younger and Jen Mortenson on Saturday, May 10th, for a special guided birding hike at our ONSC Lake Fayetteville campus in honor of World Migratory Bird Day!

As we explore the diverse habitats around Lake Fayetteville, we’ll search for a dazzling array of migrant birds returning to or passing through our area—including warblers, vireos, tanagers, orioles, and flycatchers!

With Kenny Younger and Dr. Jen Mortenson leading the way, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn from expert birders while enjoying a morning in nature.

Don't miss this chance to connect with nature, spot incredible migratory birds, and celebrate World Migratory Bird Day with fellow birding enthusiasts! 🌎🐦
